Responding to cholera in Zambia

A short course from Resolve to Save Lives and the Zambia National Public Health Institute on recognizing and appropriately responding to cholera cases in Zambia. The course consists of one module that takes about 30 minutes to complete.

Take the Course

This is a short course developed by the Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI) with support from Resolve to Save Lives. It provides essential information for health workers in Zambia. The course covers how to:

  • Recognize cases of cholera using the standard case definition,
  • Manage suspected cases,
  • Take appropriate infection prevention and control measures when a case is suspected, and
  • Appropriately report suspected cases of cholera.

The course takes ~30 minutes to complete and you will receive a certificate upon successful completion. This course does not count towards continuing professional development credit requirements.
