Ebola Preparedness Training
This clinical integrated disease surveillance and response (cIDSR) short course was developed by Resolve to Save Lives and HealthLearn to provide essential knowledge for frontline health workers across the African region. It is based on the latest guidance from the World Health Organization.
Through practical, case-based learning, the course prepares participants to:
- recognise suspected Ebola virus disease (EVD) using the standard case definition;
- safely manage suspected EVD cases;
- apply appropriate infection prevention and control (IPC) measures;
- correctly notify and report suspected EVD cases through established surveillance systems.
The course is optimised for mobile devices, designed for low-bandwidth settings, and can be completed at your own pace. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of completion that is valid for one year. This course does not count toward continuing professional development (CPD) credit requirements.
